This is a great little monitor that super-sharp with brightness and viewing angle. Also, the sunshade is useful and really easy to deploy. I don't know what the differences are with that model. It works really well and it has a great build quality.
It has a menu system that is operated with one knob pushes in for selection. My camera has on-screen adjustments for everything I need, so just leave the controls on monitor alone. Every other one that comes up when you search DC-70 is the DC-70II. There is one thing about it that not great.
It is all metal with a plastic sunshade. Zooming pixel by function, meant on the full HD selected image. At some point this knob started being really jumpy while in the menus. It can use for HDMI port, AV port and Live View; with headphone stereo output.
